AM I A MEMBER OF BRIGHTON STUDENTS’ UNION?
Yes – as soon as you enrol with the University, you are a member of the BSU.
DO I HAVE TO PAY TO BE A MEMBER OF BRIGHTON STUDENTS’ UNION?
No, membership of the BSU is totally FREE but you might need to pay for some events or activities throughout the year depending on how you choose to get involved.
DO I NEED TO BUY FRESHERS’ TICKETS TO ATTEND NIGHTIME EVENTS?
YES, ALL NIGHTCLUB EVENTS LISTED ON HERE ARE TICKETED AND YOU MUST PURCHASE THEM BEFORE THE EVENT AND THIS INCLUDES FRESHERS FILM FESTIVAL AND BRIGHTON PIER.
HOW DO I BUY A FRESHERS TICKET?
WHEN YOU GO TO BOOK A TICKET YOU WILL BE PROMPTED TO CREATE AN ACCOUN. LOGIN WITH YOUR UNIVERSITY OR PERSONAL EMAIL AND CREATE A NATIVE ACCOUNT. ONCE ACTIVATED YOU WILL BE ABLE TO LOG IN AND PURCHASE AS MANY TICKETS THAT YOU WISH TO ATTEND.
ONCE I HAVE PURCHASED A TICKET WHAT DO I DO?
MAKE SURE YOU KEEP THE TICKET AND QR CODE AS YOU WILL NEED THE QR CODE TO GET INTO THE VENUE. YOU CAN ADD TO YOUR APPLE WALLET, PRINT IT OUT OR JUST HAVE IT READY WHEN ATTENDING THE EVENT AS IT WILL BE SCANNED ON THE DOOR OF THE EVENT.
CAN I ENTER FRESHERS EVENTS WITHOUT A TICKET?
YES, YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO BUY TICKETS ON THE DOOR BUT THEY WILL BE MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE AND THE EVENT COULD BE SOLD OUT SO MAKE YOU BUY THEM EARLY!
