We're setting sail for Freshers. Shanty singalongs with Zack McKraken, rum promos, pirate pros and fancy dress at The Venue Bar. Sunday 27 September, 7–11pm. Grab your crew, dig out a tricorn, and weigh anchor with us.
FRESHERS PIRATE PARTY
Ahoy shipmates! The Venue Bar is being boarded, and every last one of you is invited to join the crew. We're setting sail for a night on the high seas with sea shanty singalongs led by Brighton's own shantyman Zack McKraken — so limber up those lungs, because by the end of the night you'll know every word. There's grog aplenty with rum promotions all evening, pirate pros on hand to show you the ropes, and a fancy dress code we take very seriously indeed: eyepatches, tricorns, questionable accents and full plundering regalia all warmly encouraged. Whether you're after your first proper night out with your new flatmates or you've simply always fancied yourself a scallywag, this is the one. Weigh anchor at 7pm.
