Being human isn’t always easy!
Our brains have a natural negativity bias and, left untrained, can play havoc with our happiness and mental health. Change can be challenging, and balancing studies, placements, friendships, a social life, and self-care can feel overwhelming. And t’s far too easy to come off balance.
So let’s not leave our happiness and wellbeing to chance!
Let’s come together as a community to consciously design our week for pleasure, purpose, and peace - the very ingredients that Positive Psychology experts identify as the foundation for authentic, sustainable happiness and wellbeing.
You’re invited to a minful Monday and wellbeing top-up to kick of the start of your week:
A short meditation
An “internal weather” check-in
Explore a creative activity
Set your own happiness and wellbeing intentions for the week ahead
This is time and space just for you! To connect with yourself and with others, and to explore what happiness means to you - in a calm, cozy, non-judgemental, pressure-free setting.
All of you is welcome here. You don’t need to feel happy to join us; simply come as you are.
Where: The BSU Common Room
When: These events will be weekly and we are experimenting with every Monday 1.30pm-2.30pm
